The Art of Love is a 501C3 nonprofit organization that uses art and animal assisted activities to celebrate, heal and empower youths that have endured trauma.
The Art of Love’s (TAOL) mission is to improve the lives of children in out of home care by providing creative outlets to help them achieve emotional well-being, cope with trauma, encourage artistic expression and create joy. We believe art is a powerful tool that can positively impact a child’s future.
We envision a world where all children are supported and celebrated. We seek to guide children on a path of self-discovery, self-love, and healing by sharing expressive arts and fostering healing through care and play with animals.
Our Vision
We will support our community members by helping underserved children in our community find ways to use art and animal care as a way to heal and enrich their lives.
We will encourage all children, families and volunteers involved to positively support each other and build each other’s self-esteem.
We will work with our team of volunteers to ensure that we provide a fun and safe atmosphere for foster children to create and explore their past, present and future world!
Our Purpose
We believe art is not only fun for children, but can also positively impact their future.
Our vision is to spread hope, happiness, and kindness to one child at a time, because a little love goes a long way!
We will do this by using art to encourage creativity and help at-risk children develop healthy ways to cope with their emotions.
